About

A small local team. A specific problem we got tired of watching.

What CartaTap is

CartaTap is a small local business that builds, hosts, and supports branded ordering, catalog, and booking sites for independent restaurants, retailers, and service shops. We handle the tech. You handle your business. Flat monthly fee — no commissions, no per-booking cuts, no percentage of your revenue.

Where we're based

We're based in Columbus, GA and Phenix City, AL. Clients in the area — and in neighboring cities — get in-person setup and support. For businesses anywhere else in the US, we do full remote setup and ongoing support. Same quality, same response time, same flat fee.

Who we serve

Independent restaurants that are tired of paying DoorDash 30% of every order. Local retailers who want to sell direct without Amazon taking a cut. Service businesses — barbers, salons, studios — who are done paying Booksy or Fresha a fee on every appointment they worked to earn. If you run a real local business and you're handing money to apps that don't know your name, we built this for you.

Why we exist

We started CartaTap because we were tired of watching good local businesses hand a third of every dollar to companies that don't know their name. A restaurant doing $6,000 a month through DoorDash is giving away $1,800 — every single month — for the privilege of being listed. A barber with 80 appointments a month is paying Booksy $120 in per-booking fees on top of processing. It adds up fast, and most of it is avoidable.

The tools to take orders, sell products, and book appointments directly have existed for years. What most small businesses don't have is the time to set them up, the design sense to make them look right, and someone to call when something breaks on a Friday night. That's what we do.

You shouldn't have to choose between modern ordering and keeping your margin. We built CartaTap so you don't have to.
